The sun is the closest star to earth, it rotates once every 27 days. You may think the Sun will die soon, but it will keep shining for at least another five billion years. The suns surface is called the photosphere. The Sun is also tilted. What ever you do DO NOT look at the sun directly with you're eyes it is so bright it may blind you, even with you're glasses.
